O estilista francês Jean Paul Gaultier expõe pela primeira vez seus trabalhos dos últimos anos no Brooklyn Museum. A exposição mostra 7 temas diferentes da evolução da vida do estilista. Alguns temas são a inspiração da moda nas ruas de Paris e o trabalho dele no cinema desde do inicio de sua carreira em 1970.

Com mais de 140 peças de alta costura e prêt-à-porter, Gaultier continua demonstrando seu talento após os anos. A exposição também mostra projeções interativos de alta definição e acessórios, desenhos, fantasias e documentários dos grandes acontecimentos da vida do estilista e ficará em exibição até dia 23 de fevereiro.

French designer Jean Paul Gaultier will be exhibiting his works for the first time at the Brooklyn Museum. The exhibition will show seven different themes regarding the evolution of the designer’s career. Some themes include inspiration from Paris’ street style to his works in the cinema since the beginning of his career in 1970.

With over 140 ensembles from haute couture to prêt-à-porter, Gaultier continues to demonstrate his talent after all these years. The exhibition also shows interactive, high definition projections, as well as accessories, sketches, costumes, and documentaries about the milestones of the designer’s life. The exhibition stays open until February 23rd, 2014.
