A Sugar and Plumm é uma combinação de loja de doces lúdica, bistrô, elegante pâtisserie e um local para comprar pequenas lembranças. Parece muito, né? Bom, não exatamente. O chef de sobremesas Pichet Ong e a dona do restaurante, Lamia Jacobs, conseguiram criar um lugar onde tanto adultos quanto crianças gostam de frequentar. Quer passar para tomar um café? Ótima escolha! Não sabe onde levar as crianças para um almoço divertido ou apenas passar para comprar ótimos docinhos? Essa é a localização perfeita! Brunch no fim de semana com a família? Vá em frente!
A minha unidade preferida e a do Upper West. Mais espaçosa que a do West Village, ela te convida a aproveitar tudo o que a Sugar and Plumm tem a oferecer. E sempre difícil escolher apenas um entre os doces feitos por eles, sem contar nos gifts super fofos para crianças (e até adultos) que eles tem disponíveis para venda. O bistrô também é convidativo e os exclusivos chocolates naturais desenvolvidos por eles são de morrer!
Why not start the week talking about a place that always makes the kid in me smile?
Sugar and Plumm is a combination of a whimsical candy store, boutique bistro, posh patisserie and unique gift shop all in one. Sounds like a lot, right? Well, not really. Pastry chef Pichet Ong, and restaurant owner Lamia Jacobs were able to create a place where adults and children all like to hang out. Want to stop by for a coffee? Great place! Don’t know where to take the kids for a fun lunch or just pick up some great sweets? This is the perfect location! Weekend brunch with the family? Go for it!
My favorite branch is the one in the Upper West. More spacious than the one in the West Village, the Upper West unit invites you to indulge and take advantage of everything Sugar and Plumm has to offer. It is always hard to decide what to choose from their house made sweets, not to mention the cute gifts they have available. The bistro is also inviting, and their exclusive line of all-natural chocolates is to-die-for.
