Prabal encantou os olhos e mexeu com os desejos dos que assistiram seu desfile para a coleção 2014. A apresentação em si já foi algo a parte, com o desfile começando com todas as modelos já na passarela, vistas por trás de cortinas de plástico. As cores, as estampas, a criatividade, e principalmente, o primor na construção de suas peças com inspiração nos anos 50 elevou a comparação de seu trabalho com outros designers aqui em Nova Iorque para um nível muito superior. Foi um daqueles desfiles que gostaríamos que durasse muito mais, ou pelo menos que se repetisse em seguida, para que os detalhes pudessem ser mais observados. Podem ter certeza que terão muitos editorias e tapetes vermelhos com looks dessa coleção. Não tem como fugir do cliché; foi realmente incrível e o designer arrancou muitos suspiros!

Prabal mesmerized and played with the senses of everyone who watched his show for Spring 2014. The show itself was something else, with the presentation starting with all the models already standing on the runway, separated by only two scrims of plastic. The colors, the prints, the creativity, and especially, the pristine construction of the pieces inspired by the 1950’s set the bar to a whole other level here in New York. It was one of those shows you wished could last longer, or that it could be repeated right after so we could pay closer attention to every single detail. You can be sure there will be several editorials and red carpet appearances with pieces from this collection. As hard as I am trying to escape the cliché, there is no better way to describe it than saying; it was amazing and Prabal took a lot of people’s breaths away.
